One of the newest public awareness campaigns in our state affects our littlest residents. A “Pre-K for PA” initiative has recently been launched to increase awareness about the importance of high quality, pre-kindergarten programs for the children in our Commonwealth. According to a recent study by PA Partnerships for Children, only 1 in 6 preschool children in Pennsylvania have access to publicly funded, high-quality pre-K.
